Tag 1 – 2:

 Johannesburg – Greater Kruger (Lodge Fx1 Mx2 Ax2)

Nach der Tour-Vorbesprechung verlassen wir Johannesburg um ca. 6.30 Uhr in Richtung Osten nach Mpumalaga, wo Gebirge, Panorama-Pässe, grüne Täler, Flüsse, Wasserfälle und Wälder charakteristisch für die Landschaft sind. Nur wenige Regionen weltweit übertreffen die außergewöhnliche Schönheit des Lowveld und der Schichtstufe. Wir besuchen den Aussichtspunkt am God’s Window, bevor wir zu unserer Lodge im Greater Kruger National Park fahren. Am nächsten Morgen stehen wir früh zu unserer Ganztagespirsch im Krüger National Park auf. Wir kehren am späten Nachmittag zurück zur Lodge, um den spektakulären Sonnenuntergang über den Drakensbergen zu geniessen oder uns im Swimming Pool abzukühlen bevor die Lodge uns ein herzhaftes Abendessen auftischt.  Krüger Nationalpark [Chalet FMA]

Bevor wir uns auf den Weg zurück zum Krüger National Park machen, strecken wir unsere Beine bei einem kurzen Spaziergang und erkunden dabei den Busch zu Fuss. Der Krüger National Park ist das größte Naturreservat Südafrikas und darf sich rühmen, die weltweit größte Artenvielfalt zu besitzen, sowie 16 verschiedene Ökosysteme. Aufregende Pirschfahrten ermöglichen uns gute Tierbeobachtungen und so können wir mit etwas Glück die „Big 5“ (Löwe, Leopard, Elefant, Nashorn und Büffel) sowie viele andere Tiere beobachten.  Königreich von Swaziland [Blockhütte FMA]

Die nächste Attraktion, die wir besuchen, ist das Malalotja Nature Reserve im Gebirge von Swasiland. Das Schutzgebiet ist bekannt für seine große Bandbreite unterschiedlicher Lebensräume, von flachem Grasland über dichtes Buschland zu Bushveld und Feuchtwäldern. Wir erkunden das Naturreservat zu Fuß und genießen die fantastischen Bergpanoramen. Wir entspannen und stärken uns beim Abendessen, bevor wir die Nacht in einer gemütlichen Berghütte verbringen. Hier wird eine faszinierende Vielfalt handgemachten Kunstwerken geboten und sicherlich findet sich auch ein Medizinmann in einer der Marktbuden.Danach geht es weiter in das Mhkuze Wildreservat wo wir uns an einen Aussichtspunkt am Wasserloch postieren. Mit etwas Glück können wir Nashörner und Elefanten beim Trinken sichten. Der nächste Programmpunkt ist ein Spaziergang mit einem lokalen Guide durch das Buschfeld und die Flussebene des Msinene Flusses. Drakensberge  [Blockhütte FMA]

Die bis zu 3482m hohen Drakensberge oder auch “Ukhahlamba” („Wand der aufgestellten Speere“) genannt sind das höchste Gebirge des südlichen Afrikas. Das 200km lange Wunderland wurde im Jahr 2000 auf die Liste des Unesco Welterbes gesetzt. Von Mkuzi aus geht es in Richtung Süden an den Rand der Drakensberge. Wir verbleiben hier die kommenden zwei Nächte in einem Landhaus oder in Blockhütten. Wir verbringen die Tage damit, die traumhaften Aussichten zu genießen und entlang keiner Gebirgsbachläufe zu wandern. Wild Coast [Blockhütte – FMA]

Weiter geht die Reise in Richtung Wild Coast. Auf dem Weg dorthin besuchen wir die Ortschaft Qunu wo Nelson Mandela begraben liegt. Die Wild Coast ist noch eines der weitgehend unberührten Naturparadiese Südafrikas. Genießen kann man hier atemberaubend schöne Küstenabschnitte, offene Flächen und ursprüngliche. Addo Elephant Nationalpark  [Blockhütte F-A]

Wie der Name schon verrät ist der Addo Elephant National-Park bekannt für die Vielzahl an Elefanten, die es hier zu bestaunen gibt. Der Park wurde im Jahre 1931 gegründet um die letzten elf Wildelefanten zu erhalten. Heute sind es mehr als 600 der sanften Riesen. Neben den Dickhäutern gibt es noch Nashörnern, Büffel, Leoparden, Löwen und noch viele weitere größere und auch kleine Säugetiere. Vergessen darf man natürlich auch nicht die 400 Vogelarten, die hier heimisch sind. Knysna/Tsitsikamma [Lodge Fx2 Mx1 -]

Die folgenden zwei Nächte sind wir der malerischen Stadt Knysna, die direkt an einer Lagune liegt. Auf einem Tagesausflug erkunden wir die Mündung des Storms River. Hier wandern wir entlang einer Schlucht und der wilden Felsenküste. Der Tsitsikamma Nationalpark, der sich über 80 km entlang der Küste erstreckt, beeindruckt mit dem traumhaften Ozean, Bergen, Tälern, Küstenwäldern mit tiefen Schluchten, in denen Flüsse im Meer münden. Für diejenigen, die noch mehr Adrenalin wollen gibt es die Möglichkeit den tiefsten kommerziellen Bungeesprung weltweit zu erleben (optional). Hermanus  [Gästehaus FM-]

Hermanus gehört zu einem der weltweit besten Orte zur Walbeobachtung vom Land aus. In der Walsaison, die von Juni bis November andauert kommen die südlichen Glattwale in die Lagune um zu paaren und um zu kalben. In der Walsaison machen wir einen Spaziergang entlang der Küste. In den Sommermonaten wird das Fernkloof Nature Reserve besucht und der blühende Feinbusch erkundet. Kapstadt – Ende der Tour [- F – -]

Zweifelsohne ist der Tafelberg ein Pflichtziel für die Besucher Kapstadt. Am Vormittag wandern wir gemeinsam hoch (auch alternativ mit der Seilbahn auf eigene Kosten möglich) und genießen nochmals die Aussicht auf Kapstadt. Den Nachmittag verbringen wir mit shoppen oder entspannen bevor die Tour am Gästehaus um ca. 18.00 endet. Beinhaltet:                           Geführte Wanderung den Tafelberg hoch Übernachtung:                     k.A Distanz/Zeit:                        k.A
(F=Frühstück, M=Mittagessen, A=Abendessen) Kleingruppenreise bis zu 12 Personen.
