Our guide to your

Tanzania Trip

On a trip through Tanzania, you see quite diverse landscapes. From dense rainforest to expansive savannah.

The legendary Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, is in the far North of the country. Lake Victoria, the third-largest body of water, is also a highlight of the country.

The unique wildlife can be explored in the “Northern Circle” of the country consisting of a few nature reserves. The Serengeti National Park is the most famous here. The Ngorongoro Crater and its scenic beauty and abundance of animals is also an absolute must on a safari through northern Tanzania. Tarangire National Park is known for its huge baobabs and large elephant population. In Lake Manjara National Park you have a fair chance to see tree-climbing lions.

The “Southern Circle” is more off the beaten track. Here you can explore Africa’s largest game reserve, the Selous. The Ruaha National Park even surpasses the Serengeti National Park in size, making it one of the largest in eastern Africa. The special feature of the park is the big herds of elephants.

If the “Southern Circle” is not adventurous enough for you, try Rubondo Island on Lake Victoria – as you approach the Island it may remind you of Jurassic Park. Rubondo Island and Gombe, the smallest National Park in Tanzania, are well known for chimpanzee trekking.

Your Tanzania safari is perfect with an add-on stay on one of the islands off the coast: Zanzibar, Pemba, or Mafia. The paradisiacal beaches invite you to relax.

How do you want to travel to Tanzania?

Tanzania is best explored with an experienced guide. There are two possibilities:

1. Round trip with a private guide

Is it crucial for you to travel individually according to your wishes and pace? Then we recommend a round trip with a private guide. You can relax and enjoy the most beautiful areas and sceneries. At the same time, you learn a lot about the country, its culture, and the wildlife.

2. Guided small wildlife holidays

If you like it more socially and on a shoestring, you can join a small group.  Whether on safari or on Kilimanjaro: with a group, you explore Tanzania without having to worry about anything. And all this cost-effectively and with a lot of fun!
