At Wilds of Afrika, we attach particular importance to showing you the real Africa. We advise you personally to design an individual round trip according to your needs. Off the beaten track.
Sustainable tourism is important to us, and we support locally run guesthouses and activities.
Anne was born in Burundi and has spent the first years of her childhood in Tanzania. Although her family returned to Germany when she was five years old, East Africa has always maintained a very special place in her heart.
After traveling extensively to Tanzania as a teenager, she decided to study International Tourism Management to join the African travel industry – the perfect solution to combine her hobby with her career. After completing her studies in Germany, Anne initially worked for two renowned tour operators.
In 2012 she decided to move to Cape Town, South Africa, where she continues to plan unforgettable journeys. Anne is a big safari fan, and she loves to explore new destinations and travel styles. Now she is fond of family travel because she takes great pleasure in showing her children the beauty of Africa.
For as long as Susanne can remember, her goal has been to discover new and unknown places. That’s what she did during and after her studies in Germany. Whether Asia, USA, or South America. Then she moved to Cape Town five years ago and the rest is history.
Susanne especially loves the warmth of the South Africans and escapes the city to spend time in nature as often as possible. It feels like she has already explored every single guest farm in the Western Cape. She loves the pristine Wild Coast and the impressive Drakensberg Mountains… ahh well, she loves every area of South Africa!
As a former project manager for incentive travel, Susanne is particularly fond of groups of friends or families who would like to discover the somewhat unknown Africa and need that little extra in the planning of their dream trip.
Vivien, who is originally from Schleswig-Holstein, has lived in Cape Town for 13 years. She is a career changer because she is a trained advertising consultant. But it has been a long time that she has worked in that profession.
Growing up by the sea in Germany, she has everything she needs in Cape Town, too. She is also fascinated by the mountains as she loves to hike. Between Cape and Karoo, she still has a lot on her bucket list to discover, and she is looking forward to it.
She enjoys sharing with others what she enjoys herself. She is a food and wine lover. Recently she discovered Camping as her new favourite travel style. She is most happy when she can explore something new.
